Restarting regular jogging after injuries or a gap of few weeks

Is jogging daily, safe?

Yes, but only if you are a regular sporting or a fitness active person!

Normally, if there is a break of more than two, incident-free weeks, resume your jogging on alternate days a week, rather than daily and then increase the frequency in about 3 weeks.

Walking for about 15 minutes, before jogging, will help warm the body sufficiently, to make your jogging safe, useful and enjoyable.

For personalized recommendations, or for resuming jogging after a muscle or ligament injury, coordinate with a nearby Sports Physiotherapist.
